Beach Crawl vs. Bar Crawl

  1. Sun, sand and sea: I mean, is this not a good reason? Beaches are such beautiful natural places and you can just chill there all day and if someone asks what have you been up to, you can tell them you went to the beach without feeling guilty about not actually doing anything! Or, you can be the sporty type and go to the beach and play ball, surf, paddle boarding, boating... there's so many possibilities now! I went paddle boarding and surfing last year and it was so much fun, I definitely recommend it if you haven't tried either.

2. Ice-cream: Let's be honest here, who actually needs a reason for ice-cream? I guess the beach just legitimises that and its something that doesn't go as well with beer but goes perfectly with the beach.

3. Beautiful views: Beaches are always some of the most beautiful natural places on earth which easily beats a run down bar, or even a high-end bar because you know outside the place is going to be cold and full of drunken idiots!

4. All-round tan: Yes some people burn, but just hear me out, how are you going to tan in a bar? Done. Added bonus, you get to show off that new bikini! Or if you're brave enough, you could tan topless for an even more all-round tan!

5. No damage control needed: We've all done it, gone out one night and had too much to drink. Everything gets a bit wavy and we do some stupid things, like filling up snapchat with ridiculous selfies or dancing/singing videos in the club. Some of us even start drunk texting (god forbid, I haven't sent any too bad yet). In the morning we have to ask our friends what happened during that hour black out in the club and slowly find clues, such as club photos with super attractive faces being pulled, or random texts from people who you gave your number to. With a day at the beach you can minimise all of this so easily, and another thing to add to the damage control list is your head and stomach - you probably got so drunk you threw up and are now having to nurse the worst hang-over ever, vowing to never drink again.

Beach recommendations?

Funny drunk stories?

As always I'd love to hear from you whatever it may be!
