European Dream
If by now you hadn't worked it out, I love to travel. I love the experience of being in another country and learning about the history and culture of that place and I like the idea of having worldly knowledge.
I've already been to Europe a couple of times (France, Spain, Italy, Germany) but there are other places I'd really like to go to, especially Eastern Europe.
Here are the top 4 European countries on my travel list:

Poland (Warsaw) I have a couple of friends at uni who are Polish and I find the language intriguing, but I find the history and culture of this country even more so. I'd really like to visit the city of Warsaw, they have city bus tours which, yes they are very cliche of a tourist to do, but they are usually really informative and give you unlimited travel for 24hrs once you've bought your ticket so you can hope on or off at any point! I'd like to also visit the Praga neighbourhood and the Jewish neighbourhood in Warsaw. I think this would be a really interesting place, Praga was once an individual town that was later attached to Warsaw, yet it still remains its own unique culture.
The Jewish neighbourhood in Warsaw was historically, the Jewish Ghetto.

I'm really into history and so, a trip to Poland wouldn't be complete without visiting a museum and concentration camp. One of the museums I would like to visit is the Warsaw Rising museum, it tells us the history of the Warsaw rising and those who died fighting for Poland to be free.

A trip to Auschwitz is a must for me.
http://www.vice.com/read/witold-pilecki-the-auschwitz-volunteer-interview The article from which I found this picture is a really interesting read about a Polish solider who snuck in and then later escaped from Auschwitz.
Czech Republic (Prague) Prague looks to be such a beautiful city in pictures I've seen...

https://www.emaze.com/@AIOFRZOO/Prague,%C2%A0Czech I'd like to visit all the obvious things in the town first, such as the old town hall and clock and the Gothic Church (such an amazing feat of architecture, the original church being built in 903, whilst the present Gothic church being built in 1344 and fully completed in 1920)

https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/454300681131126103/ I'd also be really interested in visiting the castle, founded in 800, it holds thousands of years worth of history. With an area of 70,000m², it is the largest coherent castle complex in the world.
https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/496733033874861080/ As I said with Poland, the trip wouldn't be complete without visiting a museum. The one I've chosen to visit is the museum of Communism. The museum opened in 2001 and covers a large variety of subjects such as: daily life, history, sport, media propaganda, the secret police, political labour camps and many more.
Hungary (Budapest)
http://www.inyourpocket.com/budapesthttp://budapest.boscolohotels.com/location-5-star-hotel-central-budapest/5-reasons-visit-budapest Budapest, again is a magnificent city. The pictures always leave me breathless.
http://budapest.boscolohotels.com/location-5-star-hotel-central-budapest/5-reasons-visit-budapest Again, I think I'd probably do a bus tour of the city and then spend a day exploring Castle Hill and Gellert Hill. The Castle District is full of history and has lots to do and explore.

Croatia (Zagreb) Another picturesque destination!
http://sightseeingcroatia.com Exploring the upper town is a must do in Zagreb. It is said to be the oldest part of the city and hence, the most romantic part.
http://www.frankaboutcroatia.com/top-things-to-do-in-zagreb/#Explore-Upper-town Another place to visit, slightly strange but a lot more modern, is the Museum of Broken Relationships. 'The Museum of Broken Relationships grew from a traveling exhibition revolving around the concept of failed relationships and their ruins.'
https://brokenships.com/en/visit If you get hungry you can always visit the farmers market, it's been going since the 1800's!

If you were able to travel to any European country, what would it be and why?
